  • Happiest I've been with flooring for a long time
By Momma Crow on 30 May 2016

I love this flooring! I honestly thought that for the price I was paying I was not going to get such a good product. Of course it is not the Cadillac of flooring but I love it and it gets the job done for my house. I was very grateful that I did not have to pay a lot for flooring considering that the dog and your grandchildren might tear it up easily like we have had in the past I was just looking for something easy and that would go one great. This was the easiest for have ever installed and it is stuck! It is just like I want it to be.

I really love how to make my kitchen look and fits right in with the rest of my decor. Easy to clean up. All around very happy with this product. This was an economical way for me to do a redo of my kitchen and if I ever need to change it for one reason or the other it's not like I paid a fortune for it.

I bought this product at regular cost. I am reviewing to share my honest an unbiased opinion with others. Please ask any questions and I will share my experience with you.

  • Replacement Tiles.
By SassyFace on 21 August 2016

My kitchen floor is covered with a laminate tile similar to this, but after several years of wear and tear (and one massive water leak), it was time to replace the existing tiles. The Great Sink Leak of 2016 left the previous tiles crumbling and peeling apart; leaving my whole kitchen in disarray. Unfortunately, our limited budget does not have enough slack to even hang ourselves with, let alone purchase high-grade flooring. Lol. What's more, the kitchen floor needs to be leveled-which is a major task we do not plan to undertake until early 2017-but I simply couldn't wait another few months with our kitchen looking the way it did. So, this was a good short-term solution basically for aesthetic purposes until we delve into the wonderful world of renovations next year.

Each tile is self-adhesive; you simply peel back the sheer wax-paper like material and the sticky portion will be ready to go. I did use a flooring adhesive for extra measure just to keep these in place a little stronger as I have children and pets who are constantly stomping around and I wanted to ensure they quickly stayed in place...it is not necessary to use additional adhesive though, that was just my preference.

The coloring is nice, and these are incredibly easy to install no matter who you are. Just be sure your base surface is free of debris and level, or you will cause these to crack under pressure.

I ordered two cases to replace the first portion of the kitchen area. This would be a total of 40 tiles according to the product description and listing. I received two cases with a cumulative 38 tiles. I'm not sure which package was missing 2, or if each was missing one tile, but we did several counts after beginning the project when we began noting that the area we planned to cover was off. Each count equaled 38.

These tiles are advertised as 12" x 12" x 1.3. They perfectly matched our previous tiles in size, so there was no issue with aligning them during installation; however, as you can see in the photos I've provided, all measurements we took pointed to approximately 9.5" per side. That isn't a big deal for me, because as I stated, they were the same size as the previously installed flooring.

Overall, these tiles were a good, inexpensive option for a temporary fix. I would not rely on these to last for more than a couple of years if you have a house with heavy foot traffic...but these are great for all kinds of spaces and can spruce up any room with minimal effort involved.

  • I haven't had any glue issues.
    By Jrussell424 on 23 June 2014

I was concerned with quality issues since I had seen other similar products get some poor reviews. I needn't have worried. It is the same quality you would get if you purchased a similar item from Home Depot or Lowe's. The pattern does seem a little fuzzy up close, but unless you get down and study it, it isn't noticeable (I was kind of worried when they arrived, but was in a bind and didn't really have a choice).

I have used them in a small bathroom that is used regularly. The steam from the shower doesn't seem to have affected the glue in any way. I am very happy with this purchase.

Update! A few weeks shy of one year, and they are still sticking! I haven't had any of them pop up, and they are in a small bathroom with a shower, so the humidity hasn't weakened the glue. Still very happy with this purchase!

  • Beautiful and Quality Stick-On Tile Flooring
By Dawn Dolly Golden on 22 May 2014

I love these! I wish I had a bathroom worth taking a photo of- because these tiles are BEAUTIFUL. Unfortunately I live in a rural homestead. We have an 'indoor outhouse' and it's anything but photo-worthy. With that being said, these new tiles are SO much better than the old ply-wood floors we originally had. Ever since moving into my home I've been devising a plan to renovate our bathroom. Without running water the bathroom is literally just a toilet (and a cat litter box), but that doesn't mean it doesn't deserve to be semi-pretty. With that being said having actual tile shipped to rural Alaska is practically impossible and ridiculously expensive. I needed an alternative. That's when I started looking up linoleum-style stick-on tiles.

I really loved the appearance of these, so I snatched them up. I bought four boxes, but for my 6' x 6' bathroom, I only needed 1 and 1/2. The tiles came in great condition. They appeared exactly as they do in the Amazon product picture. They are made up of faux tan, brownish red, and gray tiles. There is gray grooving around the tiles, which helps match them up to the other squares. Once all of the squares are laid, they really do look as though they are one big project- rather than multiple small 12" squares.

The wood in my bathroom was quite rotted and old. This wasn't our house originally and the last owners had flooded it multiple times by letting the outhouse septic tank fill up. Needless to say the wood was disgusting, peeling, and dirty. It was old and rotted. I went into this project with a lot of doubt. I doubted the tiles would stick. I doubted they would cover the plywood decently. I doubted they would look nice. I ended up being pleasantly surprised.

The tiles have a paper backing that, once peeled off, leaves a very sticky surface. I added a bit of Elmer's wood glue to each of the corners, and then laid the tiles down, one by one, starting in one corner and working my way out into the room. I started first by lining one wall, and then working by way to the wall adjacent. This helped ensure that 99% of the tiles aligned correctly, and only the ones lining the last wall would need to be cut. The tiles were very easy to cut. I cut them with my kid's craft scissors. They cut really easily and neatly. Once all the tiles were laid, I let them dry for 6 hours before using them.

It's now been 2 months and the tiles are still holding up very well. I was them weekly with a steamer mop. The color isn't fading. My 4 cats, 2 dogs, and 3 ferrets clawed-feet have not left any scratches on the floors. They look as good as new. The color hides dirt marks very well- which is nice, because I don't need to clean muddy paw-prints as often as I would with other colored-floors. None of the tiles are peeling up. All are laying flat. And even with our cabin shifting in the spring melt (and our floor slightly bubbling up), these tiles look very nice and show no signs of cracking or spacing. I'm so so happy with this purchase. I renovated by entire bathroom for $30.00 and I couldn't be happier! I would recommend using Elmer's Wood Glue to secure the corners (it only costs about $10.00 a bottle- and I only used about 1/8 of the bottle for my entire bathroom). But aside from that one small additional purchase, these are a great bathroom-renovating alternative-to-tile that is easy on the pocket-book.

  • Looks Great and I Did It Myself!
By Sharlene on 14 December 2016

I took on a big project when I said 'I can do the floors'. It took me a while to get started as I figured out the best way to approach this project. Some You tube videos were helpful. I am about 2/3 done and will be ordering a few more boxes to complete my task. Once I got rolling I found these tiles pretty easy to work with and they look great on the floor. I did use extra adhesive. It makes the project a bit messy but I think I made the right choice there. When cutting the edge pieces I found the tiles easy to score with a box cutter and ruler, then with a gentle bend it breaks on the score line. Also they clean up easily with just a damp mop. I would definitely buy this brand of tile again. In fact I probably will as I have another room that could use a makeover!
