I previously owned a Bialetti pasta pot which I loved so when my daughter went to college I gave her my 20 year old pans and purchased this set. Here are my findings after using for a couple months:

Pros
Amazingly non-stick but without any type of obvious coating, I don't think they will ever peel or flake. I love the even heating that they provide and they will even brown food which not all non-stick pans will do for you. They are easy to clean for the most part and I love the look of the gray material - they almost looks like granite.
Cons
The handles on the lids actually get hot if you leave the lid on while simmering - like hot enough to cause discomfort, quite annoying. The lids also pool water around the edges if you are simmering....I've not seen this happen before and it will even drip over onto the stove. The pans clean easily (see pros) but the metal rivets that attach the handles to the inside of the pan do not clean as easily. Presumably because they are not non-stick coated. I cook with turmeric and paprika which can discolor the pans, not terribly, but you can see a touch of orange.

All in all, I do like these pans (especially for the price and non-stick quality) but they do have some issues that aren't perfect.

Perfect cookware after owning Magnalite, and similar high priced pots and pans. Better than all on the market! First the handles are insane. Boil water for ten minutes and pick up the pot with no pads! Handles are too fine! Next this surface coating is not harmed by steel utensils at all. Clean up is even easier then in those faked TV commercials. One pan we got had a bent edge which one would cry about but we had a similar bend in the edge of a large pan we dropped a short time ago. All you do is warm the pan just a bit then lay it's distorted edge on a two inch depth of bath towels and very gently tap with a rubber mallet and the distortion comes back to round. When I say a light hit I mean very light--less than you think. I did this to two pans now and not one mar to the coating, lids fit perfectly and I felt so smart.

Cook times were greatly reduced with these pans as well having great conduction ability. These are NOT Induction cooking pans but I use my cheapest for that abusive method--only on our RV.

I purchased a product by this manufacture a couple of years ago from another seller. I followed the instructions for using it to cook, but apparently it became overheated, and filled my entire house with toxic fumes. But I loved the shape and size of the pan, and have been looking for something similar ever since. I had not been able to find anything that did not have a metal handle. Finally I found this one, from the same manufacturer as the first pan, but with a different type of nonstick coating. Again, I followed the cooking instructions to the letter, and again, the pan overheated and field my house with toxic fumes. I ran outside with the pen, and set it on a wooden table. It was so hot that the varnish and stain melted and stuck to the bottom of the pan. I only had a pan on medium heat to fry a pork chop, yet it set off my smoke alarm. I am very disappointed, because I had really been looking forward to getting another pan in this design.

Sought out this brand because we bought a large skillet at Costco years ago that served us well. This one is a little different in that it’s lighter weight and the finish on it is different. The gray finish is coming off of the bottom and top edges already after 3 weeks of use. I’m afraid it’s not going to last like the other one did.

I am totally pleased to see that this cookware delivers as promised as "non stick". I have tried many other so called "non Stick" pans advertised on TV etc and nothing anywhere near as good as these. I do have to caution that these pans are extremely efficient so low heat is advised because they heat up so quickly and evenly that past methods of using higher heat setting are not needed. We cook on an electric, glass top range. I am please with the construction and sturdiness as well and we will now add other pieces from this line (i.e. Griddle, 5qt Pan etc)
