    I've recently started ballet again after 20 years(I'm now 35) - I'm training to go en pointe again and wanted these for my regular routines and stretches - the reviews stated they fit smaller than expected - I followed the advice and they're right - had I gone w my normal street size(a 9) they would have been too small. I opted to go a half size up because they're leather and WILL stretch. I ordered a 9.5 and they fit GREAT. The elastic straps ARE attached- and they have the adjusting tie for the sides. I love them! I have a tapered foot shape- if you have a wider foot, you may want to go an entire size up as they could be TOO narrow if you go up a 1/2 size as I did. Great quality for a great price!

    Sizing: I followed the advice of other buyers and ordered 1/2 size up (I'm normally a 6 1/2 W street shoe and I ordered a 7W). The 7W fit perfectly length- and width-wise.
    Quality: Quality seems great, especially for the price. The color is as pictured -- a beautiful light pink. The leather is also very soft.
    Straps: The straps are completely sewn already (as others have indicated), which saves so much time and peace of mind (the sewing quality is probably 100 times better/more secure than what I could've done).

  • Makes you feet feel and look great - I would think Yoga folks would enjoy these.

    Fit as expected with a note: I wanted a larger size for comfort and I'm far from a ballerina for sure and they fit perfect (large shoe size 9/10)! I've worn them out before (not a thick sole, so walking on rocky terrain is not recommended!) and have received several compliments asking where I got them. Have one in black too.

    I wear street shoes size 7 (6.5 for a few brands) and ordered these in 7. They fit perfectly after tightening the strings and feel very comfortable. The leather is very soft and flexible.

  • Love the style, fit is trial and error

    After reading reviews regarding fit, I first purchased my shoe size (9). Some reviews said they run small, some said just right, some said they run large. Used the size 9 for 2 months and decided to go up half a size. Haven't broken in the 9.5 shoes yet so they still squish my toes. Probably should have gotten a size W, but my feet are generally narrow and I imagine there really isn't much additional width in the toe area. Other than finding the right size, I really like the split sole, quality is good, and I like the leather rather than a fabric shoe.
