  • I FEEL LIKE DANCIN!
By Susie Giamalva on 20 March 2015

I'm 75 years old, always wanted to take dancing lessons. Mom put me in music lessons instead. Read about a 90 year old lady who still dances around the house for exercise. Thought I'd try it. IT MAKES ME FEEL WONDERFUL!!!!! THE SHOES FIT PERFECTLY EVEN ON MY UNEVEN-SIZED FEET AND ARE VERY COMFORTABLE. THANKS FOR KEEPING ME YOUNG!

  • Inconsistent sizing- pictures included
By earthdust on 16 February 2017

I bought these in size four because my daughter outgrew her size three tap shoes. The brand is the same, but the size four is actually smaller than the size three. See the pictures. The size difference is enough that she can't even get them on comfortably.

For reference, the shoe with the pink M inside is her current size three Capezio tap shoe. The other shoe is the new "size 4."

I'm not sure if they changed the sizing or what, but this is not okay. I thought that buying from a brand that I had previous purchased from would give me another good experience. Apparently not.

  • Pay $10-15 more and buy a nicer pair
    By k8 on 09 October 2018

These are good tap shoes, but you should pay 10-15$ more and get ones that allow your feet to flex. I tried these for two weeks and ended up buying a pair that cost 10$ more. So happy I did. Flexibility makes a big difference. The other pair also isn't as heavy. I'm a beginner at tap dancing.

  • 5 street shoe and it fit great. So
By GrattonTND on 20 September 2018

I bought the shoe a year ago in size 2.5 because my daughter wore a 2.5 street shoe and it fit great. So, naturally now that my daughter wears a 3.5 I bought a 3.5 thinking it would fit. The new 3.5 is way smaller than her 2.5! Ugh frustrating! To top it off I ended up having to pay $10 for shipping to return it!

  • Amazing Quality! Go up 1/2 a size
By Vanessa on 15 November 2017

These tap shoes are excellent for beginner tap dancers. Although the heel is rather low in contrast to better quality taps, they are very cushioned and do not feel uncomfortable/tight around the toe and heel area as most poorly made taps often do. There is an elastic band beneath the adjustable ribbon (so really, yes the ribbon can tighten the shoe, but the elastic keeps the shoe on your foot on its own) and the faux patent leather is very cute. Overall, the shoes look and feel like excellent quality for such an amazing price. I am also very pleased to see that the rivets and taps were already attached, that's always a plus. But beware, these do scuff floors! As for sizing, my foot measures 9 and 3/4 inches using a ruler and I usually wear an 8.5 in Nikes women sneakers (sometimes a 9 in other brands). I purchased a 9 1/2 and it fits excellent with some moving space. I suppose I could have tried a 9 but I wouldn't risk it. Basically, go up a half size!
