  • Love love love!
By Amazon Customer on 19 April 2016

I actually LOVE how big this rain hoodie is! It fits me how I want it too perfectly! You have enough room to layer underneath if it's cold. I wear a 2x to be over sized to wear with leggings and that's the size I ordered. I am about 225 pounds 38-40DD size bra and kind of broad shouldered and bigger arms. I think if I would have ordered an XL it would have been hard for me to get it over my head. If the hoodie is too long you can pull the tie at the bottom to make it smaller. If u don't like oversized I would order a size smaller.

  • Not suitable for extended use in the rain
    By Diana L. on 22 April 2018

I bought this pullover to bring with me on an Alaska cruise next month and decided to give it a “test run” by wearing it on a long nature walk in the rain yesterday. This pullover kept me mostly dry over the 90 minutes I spent walking in a gentle, steady rain, but it was clear by the end of my walk that I was reaching the limits of this pullover’s water resistance. The fabric was completely saturated and was starting to get the fleece I was wearing under it a little damp. Not so wet that it reached the t-shirt I was wearing underneath the fleece, but definitely damp to the touch. I don’t think I’d trust it in a down pour for more than 20-30 minutes, but it’d work fairly well if you’re only spending enough time in the rain to go from place to place.

The good news is that it dries incredibly quickly, and works great as a top protective layer to keep you warm. It was in the 40s and obviously wet during my walk, but I felt toasty warm when I wore this over a t-shirt and fleece. I love how small it packs up and I really love the gigantic pockets it has.

If I was judging this pullover as a lightweight, breathable windbreaker I’d give it a 5, but if I judged it as a raincoat I’d give it a 3. So I’m splitting the difference here and giving it a 4. The rain protection will probably be sufficient enough for my cruise so long as I slip inside or at least under cover every 45 minutes or so so that the pullover has the chance to dry out a little every now and then instead of staying completely saturated with water.

  • Keeps the wind from cutting me on my bike rides - NOT water resistant
By Mr. Schnoodle on 16 October 2015

I've been wearing this everyday since it arrived. I love it! It is a bit oversized so I completely agree with all the reviews that mentions this. So I ordered accordingly, and thankfully as I have room to wear 2-3 layers underneath. I got this for my morning bike rides as the wind just cuts through my clothes and is too cold for me. But this works great!

The hand main pocket in the front is a good size and deep. The sleeves are a perfect length and fit snug around the wrists but not too snug that it leaves elastic marks, but enough to keep the wind out. The zipper will zip up right underneath your chin and down to the center of your breast bone, so the head opens wide to easily slip on and off without having a battle with your hair.

The hood also easily adjusts to cinch around your face perfectly without covering your eyes. This keeps the wind off your neck and ears and even on my bike rides it is snug enough that the wind doesn't catch it and pull it off my head behaving like a parachute.

The green is a really nice color and could be unisex as well, so my partner and I share it. It's well made, light weight, and simple to pack. I may actually get another in a different color as I'm very happy with this pullover and highly recommend it.

    UPDATE 2 start removal: 10/29/15:

I still really like it, BUT it is not WATER RESISTANT. Just taking my garbage can and my recycle box to the end of my drive in the rain (not a down pour), and when I took it off, my shoulders were wet.

  • Love the forest green, easy to pack into its pocket.
By Petunia on 14 January 2018

Perfect for my husband. All the advice in Q & A's really helped us choose the right size.

I saw that some folks had trouble packing it in its own pocket. To pack it: Unzip the pocket and put your hand inside, so you can see how large it is. Now turn the jacket over on its belly, and neatly and symmetrically fold it towards center, approximately the same size as the pocket. Hold one hand over the folded part and flip it over. Still securing it with one hand, turn the pocket inside out around what you have folded. It literally takes 20 seconds.

  • Amazing jacket!
By Amazon Customer on 10 March 2017

I ordered be tan one in this size XS. For reference I'm a 5'9" 150lb female and the jacket fits perfect, has just the right amount of looseness. The quality is great and the color looks perfect. I'll definitely buy more!
