I bought these shoes at the same time as a same style Clark brand. I'm keeping the Clark and sending these back. These are more true to navy blue than the Clark, but the Clark fit me better and seem to have more substance in the sole. (I have some residual effects from breaking my foot. I also have slight balance issues.) Otherwise, I would probably keep these. The price was good and they are certainly a lot more comfortable than the shoes you get at a typical cheap shoe store. These shoes did make a definite squeak as I walked across the vinyl floor. I don't know if that is just because they are new. (although the Clark shoes don't) Perhaps the squeak would cease when they have gained some dirt from walking.(I've just walked around the house briefly)

On their own, I might give these shoes 5 stars. Because the Clarks are better, I'm giving these a 4.

Very disappointed. Ordered wide size in these because I wanted something I could remove the insole from to use my own orthotic. These are less wide than regular width shoes. Hurt my foot just trying them on sitting down. Never took a step in them, returning them immediately. To say they run narrow is an extreme understatement. Anyone who call this shoe a wide width is a joker. I am very disappointed.
UPDATE: I didn't return them. It wasn't a Prime purchase and the shipper wanted me to pay postage for the return. I'm donating them in the box with a warning about the width written right on it.

I like having a slip on shoe about, so that its easy to run the trash out, etc. In the wintertime, my feet are just too cold to not have slippers or shoes on of some kind, so I wanted these mainly for that. They are nice looking shoes, so easily transition to wear outside the house, but for me these were to replace worn out shoes that I wear just for their ease of getting on my foot in a jiff. These fit the bill perfectly.

I marked that they fit true to size, but I wanted to expand on that. I'm a true 8.5, and so I ordered that size shoe. I wear thick hiking socks on my feet in the winter trying to keep my feet warm (poor circulation makes my hands and feet always chilly in the cool months). With my hiking socks on, they are snug to the point of having to shove my feet in them. But they are not too tight with my thick socks, just a bit snug, so while I maybe should've ordered a half size up, I don't know that I would've been any more pleased with them. The reality is, the shoes that these replaced were a half size too large, and the nature of this type of shoe is that there's no support for the back end of your foot, and if you step on an incline or something, your heel can slip and slosh over and out of the shoe a little too easy. Full disclosure, I have narrow feet, so that might more be a function of that, as mules and clogs are notoriously poor choices for narrow feeted folks, but I'm just giving you my experience here to better help you make your decision.

I thought they looked like plastic, not leather, hence the two-star review. Size?? Well, I usually wear a C/D width but mules can be forgiving in that respect, however these were not. This had nothing to do with my rating however. I returned them per Amazon's wonderful return policy though and will keep looking for that cute pair of shoes that does fit (my weird feet).

The toe box on this shoe, although nicely styled was not deep enough for me. I have a hammer toe and high instep and this shoe literally rubbed me the wrong way as mybig toenail caught on the seam and it was too tight across the top. Delivery was quick and return authorization easy to obtain, I paid for delivery (not a Prime eligible product) and Peltz does not pay for return shipping, so when all is said and done, I've paid over ten dollars to try on a pair of shoes. Won't do that again. The lesson to be learned is that unless you get free shipping and returns when shoe shopping online, do not purchase a style that you do not already own. VERY expensive lesson learned.
