  • Second Time is the Charm
By Zug on 14 June 2013

I ordered this a few months ago, and it arrived bent in several places. I returned it and was hesitant to reorder it since it wasn't packaged very well at all. After a few months, we decided to try it again. The rack is the perfect size for our purposes, so I ordered it again. This time it arrived very well-packed with no damage.

We didn't hang it using the chain. Instead I made a solid mounting with extended length bolts. There is no sway and we still get all the advantages. This extra set up cost me maybe $20. I will try to post a picture of our set up as soon as I can.

All in all, I would say we are very pleased with this rack. It serves us well and provides much needed space in our little kitchen. And, you can't beat the price.

  • Very happy. Just what I needed for a small kitchen
    By J. Hess on 26 January 2015

I installed my yesterday and am very happy with it. True that it is light-weight but who need something heavier when the pots & pans are hanging from it? I do agree with other posts that at least two hang points are needed for both security and sway.

Installation was easy. The package comes with only one eye-screw and the seller should really provide two. A quick trip to the hardware store and a few dollars fixed that problem using hook screws (see photo) so for that minor point only, I deduct a star...and I think that is a bit harsh on my part. I'm very happy w/ the product. I'm posting another picture to give readers an idea of how much I packed onto this pot-rack.

  • Excellent value
By Kirsten on 07 November 2013

We just moved into a house that has one-third the square footage of our last one. We have somewhere between 20-30 pots and pans and no cabinet space for them, so this was a great idea for maximizing vertical space. We did not have hundreds of dollars to invest in a rack, so this was in just the right price range.

To get the most out of this product, here's what you need:

    1. Four hooks rated to about 25 pounds each
    2. Four anchors/toggles that can go into the ceiling and that are the right size for your hooks to screw into

Screw holes for the anchors, place them in the ceiling, screw the hooks into them. You want to have each corner supported separately by its own hook, because if you only do one or two hooks, when you remove one pan, everything else on the rack will slide around with the shift in gravity. This rack is a nice choice because it has a center grid, so you can stack pots in the middle as well as hanging them around the sides. Although the construction is lightweight, the joints are soldered, so it is strong. I took away one star because I had to supply additional hardware, there were no instructions, and the construction could be better to last longer. I've only had it for three months, but so far it has held up really well, in spite of lots of use and abuse.

Overall, for the price, can't be beat!

  • This is a great space saver and looks great in the kitchen
By Valerie Magorrian on 14 December 2016

This pot rack is amazing. It was very affordable compared to other places I have seen them on sale. It is very sturdy and was easy to install and adjust to the height you need it. It holds all of my pots and I also store a strainer and a roasting pan on the top and it holds them all beautifully with no issues. I use this rack daily to take pots and pans on and off and it has never once felt unsteady or flimsy. This has freed up a lot of cabinet space for me which helps me a lot and it also looks great in my kitchen. I get plenty of compliments and people asking where I got it from. They are amazed when I tell them the price.

  • Even better with two of them
    By DJM76 on 16 January 2018

(Jan. 2018) Bought this almost a year ago and never got around to hanging till last week. I learned i suck at hanging things straight and drilling holes in my ceiling, but when people ask why it's crooked and off center, I say "it's art" lol. Also the chain it comes with is for lower ceilings, maybe 8 feet and less, my ceiling is 9 feet so I bought extra chain for each side to lower the rack, as my mother is only about 63 inches tall.
Also if buying this, it is not very big, don't get me wrong it holds a lot of pots or pans, but if you are like my family, you may want to buy a bigger version or 2 of these, i am going to order a 2nd.

UPDATE: (Nov. 2018) After I bought and installed the 2nd one of these, it looked horribly bare on my ceiling, so for roughly $20 I built the this thing to make my ceiling look better and then hung the pot hangers from it. Now it not only looks great, but works like a charm
