    Good price. Well made. Goodyear welted, which is a high priority for me when buying work shoes. The leather looks kind of antiquated which is a nice departure from most dress shoes, if you can call them that. I personally believe they work well with both slacks and dark denim. Probably not elegant enough with the thicker soles for real formalwear. They polish well on the toe cap with neutral kiwi. I wear a size 10 medium in dress shoes, which is what I bought and they fit nice. The monk strap detailing is also very nice. I was hoping they be easy to slip on and off like a loafer however I do need to hold the tongue and use a shoehorn to put them on.

    Real like men's Frye shoes. The use the best quality leather and they look great! They fit a little tight across the bridge of my foot but they will break in and be great.

  • Beautiful shoe that becomes more wearable as you wear it

    These shoes are gorgeous. Takes a little time to wear them in, and they strike the ground kind of weirdly (the heel hits before the rest of the shoe), but they are really nice shoes and I think are becoming more comfortable as I wear them in.

    LOVED these but just are not dressy shoes at all. I read the other reviews and still got them hoping they would be slightly more dressy than they are. Amazing build quality but unfortunately I sent them back because I needed a dressier shoe.

    My only concern with these Boots are the quality and durability. This specific type of Frye Boot is made in Mexico, not that there's anything wrong with made in Mexico products, however, I do know from experience that made in USA products are that much better in quality and durability. They do have made in USA Frye Boots, but those are there higher end type of Boots. These Boots are gorgeous though, and feel sturdy but I guess time will tell. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase.
