  • Fits perfectly and does what it says
By Princess on 13 April 2017

My boyfriend works at a mill that requires Steel Toe/Over the ankle.
These are EXACTLY what they say: genuine Georgia steel toe/waterproof boots.
Left side is what we bought in town and wore out, right is what we got in the mail today.
❤️❤️❤️ Definitely buying these again in a few months when he needs another pair. (Oil is a must for these bad babies but regardless what we do 7 days a week does wear a shoe down. )

  • Good leather quality
By DemonstratedConceptsLLC on 16 May 2016

Heavy boot. Good leather quality. Broke in after 1 week. Not uncomfortable before break in. Comfortable after. Ordered in wide and wouldn't recommend ordering standard if you like a roomy toe box. Logger heel does not create uncomfortable arch angle like red-wing loggers. Feels great with green superfeet.

I wear a 10 normally. Bought a 10 at first- a bit smug. I bought 10.5 EE in these- they fit perfect

  • READ BEFORE BUYING.
By kenny on 13 February 2018

These boots are amazing I was worried they wouldn’t fit but I wear a 9 1/2 wide and that’s exactly what I got . I’ve had these boots for about four months and they are the best I’ve had so far out of all the boots I’ve been wearing .

  • GREAT POLE CLIMBING BOOTS REASONABLY PRICED
By ReTiCuLe (John C) on 23 June 2018

GREAT POLE CLIMBING BOOTS REASONABLY PRICED! HAS STEEL SHANK AND STEEL TOE. COMES IN WIDE SHOE SIZE ALSO. I NORMALLY WEAR 12 EE AND THESE FIT JUST ABOUT RIGHT COMPARED TO MY BATES ZIPPER BOOTS THAT ARE 12EE. IF YOU HAVE FLAT FEET OR A LOW ARCH I SUGGEST PURCHASING Powerstep Original Full Length Orthotic Shoe Insoles as it helped my feet tremendously compared to the included soles. The included soles are very thin and have hardly any support. Hope this helps someone.

  • Not a Top Tier Work Boot. Only for light work. Sole is To Hard
By Boston Buyer on 03 November 2019

I bought this boot as my second work boot for construction. I own a pair of Red Wings #4416 which I really like, are extremely comfortable and don't hurt my feet after a long ten+ hour day in them. I wanted to see if this Georgia boot would be as good, even though they were a lot less. Big disappointment. They aren't even close in either quality of build and most importantly for me - comfort. As I pointed out, this Georgia boot model is a lot less money than my Red Wing boots (half), so you get what you pay for, but this was my experiment to see if perhaps they would be worth it. They're not. My feet begin to ache after four hours in them. I added another, more comfortable inner sole. Still no difference. My feet hurt.

In short, aside from easy around the house work, these just don't stand up to the demands I have on an excavation site, day in and out. What is it that makes them less comfortable I've asked myself? I'd say its the heavy and hard sole compound they have. Each step is a harder landing. The Red Wing soles are a softer compound (but no less durable).

I also don't like the plastic welt which I suspect will break down and crack soon enough. I do not work for any boot company or get paid to endorse RW. This is just my opinion.
