    They must have their own standard for thread count in India, as this is nothing like stuff I've bought over the last 40 years. I got it because it was cheaper than Walmart's cheapest [for $22], so didn't have high expectations.

    First, the advice to open it in the bathtub is good: there were the remains of a couple deceased critters in the set. Washing immediately is also great advice.

    The result of the wash is wrinkling like Robt Redford's face. REALLY wrinkled. It's true the fitted sheet appears oversized; however, I think that this is not pre-shrunk cotton and that further washing will make it 'more fitted.' Definitely 3rd world stuff, not the same quality as the 300 thread count you'll get at Penney's. I'm not particularly concerned about the appearance, I just hope it lasts like it should, but I'm not confident it will. You get what you pay for.

    Great price, I was a little bit worried about the quality of the sheet set. But, I was pleasantly surprised. it was exactly as described, 100% cotton, quality made. I love the color. For the price, this truly is a great deal. When I need another sheet set. I will definitely consider buying one like this, again.
