  • DON'T BUY THESE HORRIBLY UNCOMFORTABLE SHOES!!!
By TODD on 22 September 2018

I've worn KEEN boots, shoes & sandals as my ONLY Brand of footwear, for the better part of a Decade.
Currently own 6 pairs across the board... Recommend them to EVERYONE I know/work with or anyone who asks about what footwear I'm wearing.
I can HONESTLY say these shoes are the most UNCOMFORTABLE KEENS I've ever worn! I tried using 3 different insoles to try & make them more comfortable, to no avail. Now I've missed the return date...
The folks at KEEN need to buy back these garbage shoes from whomever bought them.
I'd give them 0 stars, but you have to have at least 1 to write a review. SO DISAPPOINTED!!!

  • Great sneakers.
    By Drew D on 15 June 2018

Get some questions on the job if they have toe caps or not but I don't care these things are comfortable and perfect for working in summer heat. Only wish was that the rubber over the toe area was a little thicker as it wears out fast doing flooring. Great alternative to beat the heat though if a low top is safe enough for you.

  • Made well, fit well, and very comfortable at a reasonable price
By A Reasonable Person on 15 May 2019

These shoes are reasonably conservative in appearance, not cluttered with superfluous visual schtick, as are so many other casual shoes. They are a bit heavier than usual for me because of the safety toe caps, but well balanced even so. As a senior with a hammer toe on my left foot, I find putting on the left shoe a bit uncomfortable, but in use thereafter they are much more comfortable than any other-brand footwear I now have. The 8M size is wide enough for me, bunions notwithstanding. At the $50 price I paid for my size, I consider them a splendidly comfortable bargain, and am tempted to buy another pair. If they hold up as well as over a couple of years as other Keens I have owned, then I would give them the fifth star.

  • Listen..
By jason good on 24 September 2019

I'm a long time Keen Utility Footwear user, best work shoes I've come across in a long time. I've literally tried too many brand names to mention over the last 25+yrs.
    - I have been stuck on the Keen flint Low Steel toe. Had 5-6pairs over about that many yrs as well
    - I tried the Springfield (even w/ the "mixed reviews") because the price was So good, WHY NOT?! I could always send it back for Free. Soooo....
    - They Did Not Disappoint. *** BUT I HAVE A SECRET...IT'S VERY IMPORTANT:
I always Scrap the factory insoles for Dr. SCHOLLS gel Work insoles. No matter what work shoe I have. You can find them at Walm**t for under $10. And trust me, they Really do make All the difference.
-- So, these are Just as comfortable as my Flint Lows were..for almost Half the price. No brainer. Just as durable. Maybe a tad more breathable & definitely lighter. On my feet my whole shift, warehouse work. I'd buy them again for sure.

  • I love these shoes!!!
By Fotop on 23 September 2019

I don't understand the reviews. I bought these because I'm a keen supporter they're the only work safety boot that will survive the amount of mileage that I put on boots where most boots would last a year they only make it 6 months tops at my job. some of the top notch name brands only make it 3 months. I walk an average of 15 miles per shift go ahead and doubt me, but my smartwatch puts me in the top 3% activity level of all watch users thanks to my job. The point I'm trying to make is one shift for me is 5 days a week for the average person. And these hold up. Hydrophobic, have not gotten wet. And they are beyond comfortable and within reimbursement budget for work. These are so comfy. Like all keens when first put on you wont think comfortable. Use them for a week and all back/ foot tension goes away. Now I just wanna say as a disclaimer that doesn't mean that there isnt a more comfortable shoe to stand for 6 to 8 hours in. but if you are a laborer, if you are going to walk, run, hike stairs and hump equipment around these are the shoes. I wear them for 12 hrs straight, and they're as comfortable as my old skater shoes
