  • Received knockoff jeans
    By J.Marks on 21 April 2018

These are definitely knockoffs. Not authentic at all. While the labeling is about 90% correct, the denim material used is *not* correct. It's dry and rough feeling, of cheap quality. Legitimate Lucky Brand jeans have a thinner, stretchy and soft feeling quality to the denim they use. Compared to my many other pairs of legitimate Lucky Brand jeans purchased from Nordstrom, the pair I that was shipped to me are 'okay' knockoffs but knockoffs nonetheless. Paying a premium for fake products is infuriating!

  • knock-offs
By Rye on 13 June 2018

Definitely not 121 Heritage Slim fit. I've worn Lucky's forever and figure I'd buy a pair online since I know my size and how each type fits (221 vs 121, 410, etc) These "121's" are very loose fitting, even larger/baggier than the 221 original straight. Everything from the labels and design say Lucky Brand, but maybe they're a convincing knock off? Maybe a old surplus "Slim" fit from the early 2000's? Not sure, but I'd recommend going in store to buy.

  • Jeans aren't shirts. Every pair is a little different. Plus a comparison with Levis.
By Nicholas Parker on 29 June 2019

I really like these jeans. I mean, once I extracted three pair from the nine pair I ordered that fit properly. Interestingly, I kept two 32" waist and one 33" waist. I have washed them once and they did not shrink much, if at all (cold water, med dryer).

The Lucky 121 slim fit is not as extreme as a skinny jean so they end up looking like normal jeans on my skinny legs. I also ordered Levis 511 and 513 too. If you are looking at those, the Levis 513 are more like these Lucky 121. The 511 tapers as they go down to your ankle so they are slimmer.

These Lucky 121 jeans are a little softer than the Levis I ordered. Personal preference, I like the Lucky feel. I wore Lucky jeans for the past 6 years so I'm probably just used to it. I like the tiny bit of stretch.

I know people are complaining up and down about size variations and I've come to realize, that's just the way it is. The Levis also varied in size. The size on the label gets you in the ballpark then you may have to fine tune within that by trying a few different pair of the same size. You may get lucky the first time! It might be easier for some to buy them in a store where you can try them on.

The size will also vary based on the color (wash) you get. It doesn't make sense, but that's what I have concluded. Different colors come from different countries. They cut the fabric in big lots, there's going to be variation.

Setting aside the adventure of finding the right fit, the jeans themselves are great.

  • These are 121 Slim, not 121 Heritage Slim
By AdventureRider on 31 March 2019

These are not 121 Heritage Slim jeans. They are 122 Slim jeans. 2 completely different models. This seller needs to fix the title on this page. See my photo for a comparison of what I received versus real 121 Heritage Slim jeans that I own. These are a loser fit all around and not stretch.

  • Yes. They work on anyone.
    By Miss S on 18 May 2017

Bought for a man who swore he couldn't do a slimmer fit Jean and had trouble finding any that fit. (He is tall and fuller through the legs and rear.) he tried these and was sold. They look great. Stylish but not obnoxiously trendy.
