  • These are the cheap Lucky jeans
    By Stew81 on 22 October 2018

For those that don't know this, Lucky has 2 different levels of quality. They have the jeans that they sell at outlet malls which usually cost $50. Then they have the higher quality denim that they sell at department stores for about $100. Its easy to tell the difference just by putting them on but you can also tell by looking at the Lucky label above the back pocket. The cheap ones have a paper tag and the good ones have a leather tag. These jeans have the paper tag.

  • They ripped.... twice.
    By Marniek725 on 24 January 2017

So, the 2 stars are not about "fit" but more about quality, which is a giant surprise. My husband has worn Lucky Brand jeans for YEARS, they are just his brand. He will admit he gain a couple of "holiday" pounds recently and decided to order this particular pair one size larger than his usual 36 (the fit was good, not too tight not too loose). To his and my surprise they ripped the during the second wear (only washed once per directions - cold water, dryer, nothing fancy). And they didn't "split" at a seam, they tore from the top of the right back pocket straight down to his knee. He was literally getting up from a sitting position. Really weird. So we called Amazon and just like magic the wonderful customer service promptly sent a replacement pair we received the next day free of charge. Well, today, day one of wear, the replacement pair tore in a similar area. Amazon did offer up a 3rd pair but we took the refund instead. My husband has said he's taking a break from Lucky Brand denim for a while, he doesn't feel so lucky at the moment. I hope if you purchase these you have better luck than he did. :)

  • this fit seems to suit me best. What bothers me is
    By Matthew D. on 05 March 2018

I've been wearing Lucky Jeans fairly exclusively for the last several years - because I have some shape to my legs, this fit seems to suit me best. What bothers me is, nowhere in the description does it indicate these jeans are "stretchy". If I wanted stretchy jeans I would have searched and purchased stretchy jeans. There's something very weird about wearing jeans that stretch, and beyond being a little worried that they're going to "stretch-out" and lose their shape, I feel like I'm wearing women's jeggings... which is not a very cool feeling. The stretch also makes them feel larger compared to normal, non-stretchy, denim. Again, on first wear they're okay, but disappointed in the lack of description - I would have purchased a different pair had I been aware of the stretchy denim.

  • Good jeans if you like comfort, durability and consistency.
    By Benjamin W on 12 August 2018

Ordered a pair a while back and liked them so much I ordered another pair. Perfectly consistent fit and the first pair has held up well being washed weekly (inside out on a cold/cold normal cycle) and worn 2-3 times between washes (riding busses, walking around town, sitting a desk, etc). Haven't noticed any wear on the hip where my satchel bounces all day which has destroyed the seam on some other jeans. That 2% spandex gives just enough stretch to make a noticeable difference in comfort without losing the weight and sturdiness of the denim.

  • Fit is about right on
By WalleeCee on 10 April 2018

Just received 2 pair a few days ago. I compared the 2 to a pair I already had and they seemed to have changed the way they make them. The fabric is definitely thinner than before and the craftsmanship is NOT on par with what you'd expect from a ~$100 pair of jeans. I've already had to carefully cut some extra(?) thread from a few places on the first pair. I'm hoping these last as long as my old jeans.
