  • Fell apart in less than one month!!!!!
By The Mighty Eaglefan on 08 September 2016

Didn't even last a month. Already separating. I have worn other brands, Skechers, Timberland and wore out the bottoms long before anything else working in the same exact environment. I got what I paid for and the bad part is I recommended these to two other people and they are having the same issue and are returning them as well. Since mine are almost a month old I will have to eat it but I will never buy another boot from Lugz again.

  • Compare favorably against leading competition
    By J.Ortiz on 09 January 2017

I normally buy Timberland boots but in truth they aren't the most comfortable or warm boots and aren't especially good as work boots, at least from my experience, so after having had some Lugz products before I figured I would give these a try. Right off the bat they feel much more comfortable than Timberlands in comparison. They have much better padding underfoot and even feel more comfortable around your foot and ankle area. I haven't used them as work boots so I can't speak to that use yet and I don't know how durable they will be although my previous Lugz products were good in this regard. This has always been the great thing about Timberland for me though is they were always very durable for me. My initial impression on these boots has been very good and as long as they prove to be durable I will be very happy with them going forward.

  • Terrible for Lugz
    By S. BENOIT on 25 December 2016

Back of sole came unglued and it hasn't even been 4 months. I think this is terrible for a show of this name brand! No they aren't high end but they aren't cheapo either. The shoe isn't worn every day and it looks good except for that. Imagine walking around downtown San Francisco and having your Lugz start flopping! Bad show Lugz, bad shoe and apparently this is not uncommon. No more Lugz.

  • Not exactly a Work Boot....
    By Taylor L. on 12 March 2019

When I first received the shoes, they were great! Comfortable from day 1, true to size, and looked good to. But...I work normal 40hr work weeks as a service tech. Spending half that time driving, and another quarter of it kneeling or laying on the ground working on parts. 3.5 months is what I got out of these boots before they started to fall apart and completely separate. I'm not sure if this is a case of "getting what you pay for". The treads of the shoe are still basically new, but the boot is worthless now

  • they are as comfortable and fit as well as the last pair of ...
By Danny essary on 07 October 2017

as expected, they are as comfortable and fit as well as the last pair of Lugz i owned 15-20 years ago, give or take 5 years. i went ahead and siliconed where the boot meets the sole to prevent water from getting in between and the sole coming off, because a few reviews stated that the sole came off fairly quick. they are water resistant not proof. it's probly not the boot you want if you're gonna be in water with them. love the boot itself tho.
