  • Buy This Spatula
By PortlandAtty on 25 March 2019

I worked as a cook and have a full range of utensils in my kitchen, from way too pricey and I wish I'd never bought it to o can't believe they could manufacture something so cheaply, and usually, I wish I had never bought it. I typically stick to mid-priced utensils because I'm looking for value - a good kitchen utenik for a reasonable price. I do have high standards for utility. My kitchen is for cooking. If that sounds like you, buy this spatula. Buy 3 of them. The fish spatula shape changed my life, from flipping pancakes to removing lasagna with the edge intact, the fish spatula is amazing. I've bought a couple of fish spatulas, this one and a much nicer one for close to $20. I prefer this one for less than $5. Sure, things stick to it. Put it in the dishwasher. If you leave it on the stove, it will melt. Buy a new one. It's$4. It's safe on all of your nonstick cookware and it's possibly the best value you can find in culinary equipment. Buy 3. You won't regret it.

  • The Endless Quest for the PERFECT Spatula Ends HERE
By OK on 13 March 2014

I'll admit it. I'm picky, picky, PICKY about my kitchen utensils. Tongs, spatulas and ladles, to be precise. And I've been searching for YEARS, trying to find the functional equal to an ancient, worn, and slightly warped, early-70's model Ecko egg turner I inherited. You know the feeling of a trusted tool-- one with just the right heft, just the right edge thickness for turning over-easy eggs or flipping pancakes, with just the right wrist feel and the perfect combination of flexibility and rigidity.

To cut the chase, this spatula fits the bill perfectly in all categories, including easy storability (fitting "flat" in a drawer). I should have listened to the other reviewers & bought two at once. But I just HAD to try it before I committed to more than one. First I bought a red one. Then came back for a purple. Who knows what color is next? I love these for all my kitchen chores--over-easy eggs, french toast, hash browns, broiled fish, scrambled eggs, hamburgers--you name it, it can flip it, and the edge is cut at an angle and is just the perfect thickness for its purpose. Love being able to use more than one at a time with "color coding" so we don't accidentally flip the eggs with the hash brown spatula-of-the-day : ) Highly recommended for utility, looks, heat resistance, & price; I'll be back for several more for myself & for family gifts. Love 'em!

  • I'm not flipping over this flipper.
By lily on 12 January 2019

I have an old slotted spatula that has served me well for many years, but the heat has thickened the edge, making it not good for getting under and flipping. I needed something that wouldn't scratch so I was hopeful when I saw this. I have an IKEA spatula but it isn't slotted.
I found this spatula a great disappointment The edge is too thick to get under eggs, pancakes, etc. in order to flip them cleanly. The material is very stiff and there's no give to the handle and finally, the angle is just awkward. I have relegated this to the rummage sale drawer. The non-slotted IKEA spatula is less than half the price and does a much better job.
One plus, the handle has a nice thumb groove that gives a secure hold.
    Definitely would not recommend.

  • nice durable spatula
    By lisa516 on 15 January 2019

I have purchased 8 of these for cooking in an institution. We make over 2000 omelets a week and these do the trick.

  • Temperature on packaging is misleading @ 450F.
By NomiS on 17 August 2018

Marketing ploy to increase sales. The tool itself works as intended, but, the packaging claims of heat resistance up to 450F is misleading, look at spatula rating on handle for accurate rating. I doubt it was an error but more a purposeful action to increase sales. You look at the big read flashy image on the packaging, not the tiny font on the back of the handle when deciding to buy this in a store.
Fix packaging and get a star back for accepting responsibility.
Thank you for your swift action.
