  • What the heck happened?!
By Donovan Halstead on 10 July 2018

I've had a pair of these Tucson pants for years. Great pants. I saw that these were on sale so I grabbed a bunch more. WOW! These are one inch wider in the waist, but they are both 32 inch inseam. As you can see from the picture. The dark pair are the new pair. I remember these shrinking a bit but yikes! These are a full 6 inches longer. What happened here?
I guess I'll be sending all 12 pairs of pants I ordered back. Dang it Prana.

  • Perfect, versatile travel pants
    By K. Conroy on 24 July 2018

These are really great travel pants, especially for the prices Amazon sells them for. I think the Brion pants are more comfortable, especially for physical activity, but these are versatile and fill a slightly different role for me when traveling. They look great, are somewhat water / dirt resistant, seem pretty durable, and dry quicker than jeans. I wore them in nice restaurants and bars as well as walking around and hiking. My only complaints are that they're longer than I expected and that the waist and thighs fits me perfectly, but the calves are a little tight. I tried the next length down and it was just barely too short. I could get them hemmed, but probably won't bother, and usually just roll them up an inch. The pockets are a great size and easily fit my passport, wallet, or phone. I like that the pockets are straight jeans style and tight enough that things won't fall out and it would be difficult to pick-pocket. Charcoal is probably my favorite color, but I ended up keeping the navy blue and going with charcoal for the Brion. My wife thinks these look better on me than the Brion, but in my opinion these look a little more like jeans and the Brion look kind of like dress pants. I also tried Bronson, but they were way too baggy on me. I tried on multiple sizes, but I'm 6' 155 lbs and went with the 30x32.

  • Husband's new favorite pants!
By AllyInOKC on 31 August 2018

We were planning a trip to France, and wanted to pack light, so my husband did lots of research. And I mean LOTS! He repeatedly read, for both males and females, that PrAna pants were an excellent choice. We wanted to spend less, but I will tell you that they're worth it. We both bought two pairs of pants and my husband also purchased multiple pairs of PrAna shorts. They pack down super small. They were shipped rolled up with a little string around them. When you unroll them, they look incredibly wrinkled, but we'd read that they quickly de-wrinkled. "They" were right. Within minutes, they look great. They have a nice amount of stretch, without looking like leggings or yoga pants. In fact, they were perfect for the look we prefer. The Europeans call that look "smart," think kind of business casual. Nice enough for a nice dinner out, work, and the best part is that they're comfortable enough to wear all day. We both highly recommend these pants!

  • Three months and worn out already?
By Brian Kowalski on 16 March 2019

I bought these pants thinking they would last longer than most - Prana has a good reputation for being incredibly durable. These were not. They have holes near the crotch area already - I've had them for all of three months. They're not the kind you might see with a snag either, but that worn out kind. Pants I've gotten at goodwill have lasted longer. I was never wild about the fit either but I thought they would at least be durable. I did't even get to bike commute season!

EDIT: I contacted prAna and they agreed that these pants should not have worn out already, and have agreed to replace them. I plan on replacing them with the stretch zion as well. I increased the star rating because I like that they stood behind their product.

  • Very versatile, well made, durable, comfortable pants.
By Benjamin McGraw on 28 July 2018

Amazing rugged pants! I am a waist size 33, but had to return those for a size 34 because those pants were a bit tight in the thighs and calves. So keep that in mind if your thighs are a bit muscled. The 34 is absolutely fine with a belt. Other than that, these are some of the best, rugged pants I’ve found, and they can easily double up as nice work slacks, or as everday day slacks as well. They are very versatile, ethically made, and constructed very well and intended to be very durable for years of use. I like that they’re tappered as well, but like I mentioned, they taper quite prominently so decide if you need a size up, or if you want skin tight pants in the thighs.
