  • A good basic edition to your work/dress wardrobe
By your friend on 07 March 2016

These are basic, attractive low pumps (maybe 1 1/2 inch heel) with a pleasing, classic shape. They are not so low in the front as to show toe cleavage (except slightly on the baby toe). They come up appropriately on the heel (not so low that they slip off, not so high that they are uncomfortable) and fit fairly well there. They are a bit loose on my heel, but I often have that problem with shoes. I bought these shoes in both the black and the black patent, in my customary size (10N) rather than the 1/2 size down recommended. I am very glad I stuck to my normal size as these fit well and I prefer a tiny bit of extra room in the toes to barely fitting into shoes. My feet are not incredibly narrow, so they might be too wide for someone who tends more toward a AAA. These shoes do not have arch support, but as I have flatter feet this doesn't bother me. I did notice that the plain leather shoes felt looser and slightly bigger all over than the patent leather ones. I am not sure if it is just the particular pairs I got, or if this is a general trend. There is nothing spectacular or showy about these shoes, but they look good for work, would never offend anyone, seem like a style you could wear until they wear out, and are appropriate for ladies of all ages. I like that they have nice grippy rubber bottoms and seem well constructed. It helps that I got them for a very good price and I am contemplating buying additional pairs while the price remains low to save for the future.

  • Great Value!
By Irma Judith on 16 March 2016

Could not believe the price on this shoes....I liked them so much I bought one of each color! I have always liked the comfort of Propet shoes and have been wearing their casual shoes for years, but when I found out they made dressy shoes, I had to buy them as well. They are comfortable and can be worn to dressier occasions or to church. Thank you Propet....my arthritic feet are grateful!

  • I really like high heels but I am older and my hip ...
By LAMB on 13 November 2015

I really like high heels but I am older and my hip and back hurt too much to wear them right now. So I bought these black patent pumps for special occasions and they look really nice, but the lower height doesn't hurt my back and hip. I am very happy with them. I particularly like the lower cut in front. Most similar brands are cut a little higher and look clunky while these look very feminine with dresses or pants. I don't know why shoes from China are so expensive though. I would like to get another pair in tan but that will take some saving up.

  • Low, comfy, a smidge narrow up front, a half-size longer in length than "true" size.
By Mir on 07 June 2016

I needed comfy pumps (low, easy on my ankles and knees). These are a tad matronly--what I call "Queen Elizabeth" shoes--but I have some stylish and painful pumps and some stylish and okay-pumps, so I went for low and matronly and comfy.

I found these ran about a 1/2 size too long and a smidge too narrow. I'm usually 10M, and I got these in both 10 and 9.5 regular. The 9.5 fit MUCH MUCH better (almost just right). I'd say a tiny bit narrower than I prefer in the toebox. So, if you're a solid number, I'd recommend a size down. If you tend to a wider foot, they might be slightly tight. If you're a perfect regular/M, they should be fine. (I run a smidge wider than regular, and not wide enough for wide normally).

I got it in the oyster (which is more a light-butterscotch and in the red, which is an earthy, subdued red--brownish/earthyish red, a matronly red, haha).

I got them for a great price here on Amazon, so it was worth it for comfy-soled, low leather pumps. Don't expect great stylishness. Just comfort and functionality for work, church, dresses/skirts and slacks. These won't look right with jeans.

  • The heel is also tapered- not good for anyone with back/hip/balance issues
By Amanda on 30 April 2016

They were way too tight in the toes fit a 2E width. They also arrived scuffed and with tears in the leather. For shoes that are advertised as having a gel insoles they were very uncomfortable. The heel is also tapered- not good for anyone with back/hip/balance issues. I returned them because they were very uncomfortable, didn't fit right, weren't as advertised, and arrived damaged despite being listed as new.
