  • Great Shoe for Bad Feet
By The Kid's Mom on 05 May 2018

I have an 8-hour on-your-feet job on cement floors. I have flat feet and bunions. These shoes get me through the day. They support and cushion my poor-poor feet. After I go home, I change out of these work shoes, and I can do what I need to do. I've worn cross trainers to this same job, and would be a wreck afterward. I would definitely recommend these.

  • Clinical Shoes
    By A. Chaffer on 10 November 2018

I got these shoes for my nursing clinical. I liked that they are Sketcher because that is ALL I wear. The description states memory foam insoles......not that I can tell. They are not flexible like all of the Sketchers I have. I love that they are leather because I can wipe them clean. I love that they are slip proof. I walk in wet conditions a lot and these really grip the floor well. They are just not easy on the feet. Great on my back and knees, which is why I wear sketcher. I just wish the insole was more comfortable.

By Halosnhippos on 19 November 2015

I bought these because they are very much like the pair I already had but this one had memory foam. Which one would think would only improve the shoe...it doesn't. The shoe itself is exactly what I wanted which is the only reason i gave a two instead of a one I had to take the insole out its actually more comfortable without it. I'm going to get some gel insoles to put in it or something. Basically the memory foam is only a rectangle of it at the heel of the shoe. The rest of the insole is a thin piece of fabric over what feels like styrofoam. It bunches up at the heel and pokes the back of my heel. I've never seen such a cheap looking insole in all my life. I've included pics but you really can't tell how bad without holding it in your hand and feeling it.

  • Total disappointment
By Tiffany on 09 January 2017

Fit was okay, but the minute I started walking in them, it was extremely painful. There was a crease where the shoe bent on the top while walking, and it dug into the top of my foot just under my toes. I couldn't walk in them for more than 5 minutes before the pain became too unbearable. I was going to use these for paramedic school, for hospital and ambulance clinicals. Disappointed that they didn't work out at all.

  • My fifth pair had glued-in insoles, making orthotics difficult to use.
    By Jack's Mom on 06 January 2018

I've bought this shoe five times in the past two years so I have a great deal of experience with this style. The issue I have with them is that the most recent pair I've bought has insoles that are glued into the shoe. This has not been the case with the four other pairs I've purchased. For those of us who need to wear either custom orthotics or a better quality orthotic than a typical shoe insole (memory foam doesn't do it for some of us), the only way I could get my orthotics to fit was to tear out the memory foam insole, which was glued in from top to bottom and very difficult to get out (in the other four pairs, they weren't glued down and came out easily). I now have expensive orthotics that I can't remove from the shoe due to the strong glue that had been used, which was still in the shoe after the insole came out. So I am hesitant to buy this style again. The reason I've bought this so many times is certainly not the style (they are clunky and ugly) but because they are the only shoe I've found that works with my post-surgery feet. I go through them a little quicker than others because of the way I walk and as soon as I wear down one side too much I have to replace them. I've never had a problem with the sole separating from the rest of the shoe or any other problem other than self-created. But now I have the possible issue of the glued in insole. If you do need it, there is a good amount of support in the forefoot. Most shoes talk about heel or arch support; I need forefoot support and these are good for me.I just worry about the insole issue and hope that it was just a fluke. I will buy them again but it could be the last time. For reference, I buy these in a 9 1/2 or 10 (extra wide width for both).
