  • Way too stiff

    They look cute but they are really stiff. I thought my 3 year old could just wear them a couple days and break them in, but now after a few days he refuses to wear them because they hurt his feet. I'm confused because I've bought Stride Rite shoes for him before and they were really good quality shoes, and these were very disappointing. I always thought Stride Rite shoes were the best shoes for little kids, but not anymore.

  • Cute but really stiff

    We ordered these in 10W for our toddlers as spring-time shoes, but ended up returning them right away. While they are super cute and the perfect width for their feet, they seemed super stiff, and we weren't willing to test out how quickly they would break in on their feet.

  • Great fit, Cute shoe!

    Cute shoes! They looked like i would tie them under the velcro but thankfully it is a elastic lace under the velcro and the lace stretches to get my 14 mth olds foot in the shoe and then velcro over to secure the shoe in place. This is my sons 2nd pair of shoes, 1st pair were high tops to support his ankles but also enforce keeping his shoes on. I wasn't sure he would keep these on or just try to kick them off all the time and thankfully his daycare reported yesterday he kept them on all day!!!

  • Too stiff!

    For some reason this shoe is much stiffer than the other Stride Rites I've purchased for my toddler, and we've gone through at least 8 pairs. She's used to flexible shoes and complained that these hurt her feet. Returned.

  • Great Fit Great Look

    My dog ate one of my son’s shoes and I struggled to find the same ones as a replacement. Thankfully, I was able to track these down on Amazon and they fit and look just as great as the first pair I purchased.

    As a slight aside, I think Stride Rite shoes are overpriced for the quality, but I do love the way they fit. I prefer to buy them on sale whenever possible but I can be difficult when your kids’ feet are wide or extra-wide to find them on sale.
