  • Decent, but with some issues
By MK on 13 October 2016

First, the pros: these boots are VERY comfortable. They've been a daily wear for me for a year now, and I've put a lot of miles on them. I've never gotten blisters or sore feet from them.

The con? Quality control left something to be desired. After the first week a big chunk of the treading on one of them peeled off, but after that they seemed to wear normally. A year on, the insides are tore up, the bottoms are worn smooth, the seams are coming apart, and I'm looking for a new pair of boots.

  • Jury is still out
By Brian Jaeger on 18 April 2019

First of all I ordered an 11 which is what I wear and they were too big so keep in mind they run a little big. First day wearing them for 10 hours and I could barely walk when I got home. One of the stiffest pair of work boots i have bought in a long time! Hopefully they break in soon soooooooo uncomfortable!! If you do try these you need to buy a better insert for them because the ones that come with the boot are basically useless! My last pair I bought was like 60 dollars and were the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned but I heard how nice these were supposed to be but am at this point very disappointed for what you get for the price. I give then a 4 stars because they seem to be made very well and will hopefully hold up just very uncomfortable cant stress that enough.

  • Fell apart after 3 months
By Amazon Customer on 26 October 2016

The seems holding the the rubber heal protective piece on both boots have entirely fallen apart after 3 months as my daily work boot, very disappointed. The boots are now unusable. The foam material around the sides of the boots at the bottom have also marked and torn up easily. I was happy with Timberland work boots in the past but don't think I will buy a pair again. I thought the price was too good to be true, and it turns out it was. They seem very cheaply made compared to Timberlands I've had in the past.

By BODMAN on 10 February 2018

These boots are so nice and it's no joke I now have up to 10 pairs of Timberland Boots and I have not stopped.Unfortunately there are times that I need to buy a particular style and will not get my size and what makes it so annoying is the fact that even Timberland that makes these boots will not have nothing to safe the situation,I wear size 12 wide and now I am trying to get a 12 wide in Men's Timberland Pro StockDale Alloy Toe Work Boots ( Style A1GYL214 ) and all I see is the 12 medium. It will be good if all the sizes are made available so that everybody can get their sizes.I will not mind if arrangements can be made to get this my size in this style and I will forward payment. Thanks.

  • Hard to Wear
By Dizzy! on 21 April 2018

These are so thick and rigid that they actively hurt my feet to wear them. I still haven't broken them in, I can't stand to wear them for more than a day in a row, I can maybe do it once a week or so and I can't do anything really physical when I have them on because it feels like I'm wearing a splint or something. I love Timbs, I've bought them before, I know these are good boots, but...

They're just hard to wear. My feet have never felt safer, I'm pretty sure I could drop a train on 'em and be fine, someone could take a baseball bat to my ankles and I wouldn't notice, but they're a FAR cry from comfortable at the moment. I might update this review in the future if I ever manage to soften them up a little, but it might be a century before that happens.
