  • Light, breathable and stylish
By Jayston Seeling on 03 June 2017

I've been a fan of Timberland Pro for years. I've had several pairs of their work boots and I've always been pleasantly surprised with how durable and comfortable they are. I am required to wear steel / safety toes for work and while working, I'm on my feet 8 hours a day, 40+ hours a week. My old boots were nearing the end of their life, so I thought I'd change it up and try a pair of work shoes.

    Pros:
    1. Very light - One major drawback of most safety boots is the weight and these don't have a noticeable weight you can feel when wearing them.
    2. Breathable - My feet sweat a lot less in these compared to other work boots I've worn. Only downside is a less satisfying shoe and sock removal after a long work day. :)
    3. Stylish - These turn a lot of heads and are very flashy. A lot of co-workers took notice and a few bought their own.

    Cons:
    1. Insole - The insoles in these leave a lot to be desired. They are designed to be anti-fatigue, but they don't offer much in terms of support. I bought another pair of insoles and put them on top of the included set and the added cushion makes these a dream.

Even with the insole flaw, I gave these 5 stars because they greatly exceeded my expectations. I've been wearing these a few months and I'm very impressed. They are holding up pretty well, but I haven't had them long enough to make a judgement on the durability.

  • Great shoe for concrete
By Nall on 29 October 2018

Wonderfully comfortable. I was wearing an old set of Nikes that were destroying my feet, ankles, and knees. Now I can walk around my work all day on hard concrete floors, and still be able to stand when i get home.
Only thing I took a point off for was the color. I thought they were gonna be purple from the picture, but mine showed up all black. Perfectly fine, their still great shoes, just purple is my favorite color, bit disappointing.
Update: been wearing these for 6 months and a huge crack has appeared in the tread. Shoes are still comfortable though. -2 star

  • Comfortable, but don't last long.
    By Richard M on 19 February 2018

After 4 months of wearing these the sole has cracked and I'm going to have to trash them and buy a different shoe... Not going to waste that kind of money every 4 months. It's happening on both boots. These are just work shoes so I wear them about 40 hours a week.

  • Durable
By Evgeny Kolev on 19 June 2019

My second pair of Timberland PRO shoes. I go through the trouble to fill extra paperwork for my employer to allow me to use shoes outside the catalog they offer. These are amazingly comfortable. I don't fall for fancy advertisements of new "systems" etc., but for sure I feel less stress in my legs when I stand and walk fro a prolonged time.
Also like the fact they are relatively light compared to other safety shoes.
And they look so good - I often wear them outside work, as they match the orange color of my car and some of my clothes :-)

  • comfortable!
By Scott on 08 September 2018

I would give them a 4, but I think I am just fussy about shoes. I bought the insoles for these, I never wore them with the factory insoles. Very comfortable after you get used to them. I haven't needed safety shoes in 10 years, so it was a transition. Now that I am used to it again, they are quite comfortable for a full day's use. I do not work in a factory or walk terribly much while working, its just a CYA insurance for my company.

    They squeek along vinyl flooring.
