  • Excellent look, terrible quality.
By Ryan Cocca on 04 August 2015

Absolutely loved the styling and the cost, however the arm of the tortoise shell pair fell off the 2nd time I wore them. Excellent look, but terrible quality.

  • I've come to terms with this relationship with sunglasses and I'm fine with it
    By G. Franklin on 28 September 2017

I'm a fan of cheap sunglasses. I refuse to buy, say, Ray Bans because I know I'm going to sit on them, have my child rip them off of my face, or leave them somewhere. I've come to terms with this relationship with sunglasses and I'm fine with it. That said, these zeroUV sunglasses are pieces of garbage. They look just fine, come with a soft case/cleaning cloth and toss off this "Man, you're getting a great deal on some quality eyewear" vibe. Unfortunately, the second you try to clean the lenses, they pop out of the frames. I've spent nearly as much time putting the lenses back into these glasses (and then trying to clean them off in as futile a fashion as one can imagine) as I have wearing them. I'm a 40 year old man and I just flat out don't have the time to have this relationship with my cheap sunglasses. Ray Ban, you may have won a customer.

  • I bought these and really like the glasses
By Dan on 17 September 2017

I bought these and really like the glasses, but there are seriously quality issues. I',m easy on sunglasses and my pair only lasted a little over a year with very light use. I wear glasses normally 6 days week and have multiple pairs of sunglasses for when I do wear contacts. Both sides of the frames developed cracks above the lenses and one of the lenses completely popped out. Good styling and a rip off of the classic ray ban wayfarer look, but the quality of these is not good and don't expect them to last long. They look good for a $10-$12mpair of sunglasses but I would only recommend them if you needed a quick pair of beater sunglasses last minute before a trip. Again they have quality issues and broke for me, the lenses also scratch easily.

  • Plastic lens is delaminating after only a month of light use. Worth about $2.
By Tom Clearwater on 07 September 2017

The plastic lens is delaminating around the edges after cleaning them with water. It is starting to look like an old bathroom mirror with corrosion creeping up along the edges. I have only had them about a month or so. Definitely a "don't buy" in my opinion.

Update: At less than 2 months, the frame cracked above one eye piece and the lenses fell out. Not made well.

New Update: I used super glue to fix the cracked frame. Two days later, of gentle use, there is a new crack right next to the first crack. These are not worth $2 really!

Last Update: ZeroUV left a reply to this review earlier. When I contacted them, they told me I could pound salt as far as a refund because the seller is Amazon. Amazon did issue a refund but this was way too much work. Buyer beware!

  • Nice frames, terrible flimsy lenses.
    By Jake I on 07 March 2018

I will start by saying I am a fan of ZeroUV, which is why I just ordered 4 more pairs (this dual pack of turtle shell and black, and then two of the fancy shiny lens ones). The frames on these glasses are great, and the lenses have good polarization and are decently clear. However, I am giving these two stars for a couple reasons. The lenses on both of these pairs pop out of the frames at the slightest touch. Dont expect to wipe the lenses to clean them without having to pop them back in. The second reason is that the lenses are a much thinner material than the fancier shiny lense wayfarers that Zero UV makes. If you pop them out (which you will, at least once a day while wearing them), they are very flimsy. I wish I could return these but I've already opened and worn them
